Our “Can do” attitude:
Everybody is differently abled. And our initial approach is no different to our other classes. We find a way and make tennis accessible to all, there are no limits, we work with the ability and have the highest expectations for the outcome. Regardless of the disabilities, abilities or special needs, which we prefer to call superpowers. Every child is welcome and will be embraced.
Our power-house team:
Hand-picked committed, professional coaches who are intensively trained to think on their feet and use the equipment creatively. We work intrinsically, sensitively, respectfully with the ability, choosing the best approach to help each child feel included in a sports environment. Although at times the methods seem strange and look like random fun games, the intention is to cover the curriculum and the result will be that the learning outcomes are achieved. Like pieces of a puzzle they all fit to play the game. Challenge us, you will find that we are fearless and unstoppable in our efforts and with perseverance and patience from all, miracles will happen.
Tennis Versatility is achieved for any age and ability by adapting the following:
A Little Secret about what goes into the class...
We don’t just think about you during the class. Outside sessions we research related topics, spend hours preparing notes and planning for your child, it takes more than the physical time of the class to see the results you see.
What are your child’s superpowers?
It maybe one or many accompanied with special needs. All information is treated with confidentiality and will help us in our research to determine the best approach for your child.
Examples of superpowers we are working with are:
Down’s syndrome, Asperger’s syndrome, Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), selective mutism. Also visual, audio, and physical impairments.
The official categories of disability tennis:
