How do we do it?

We focus on the child’s abilities and overcome their limitations. Skills become doable, even the ones that are challenging. This builds confidence, developing a resilient generation.

What is Happy Feet Fitness?

It is a multi-sport movement programme consisting of:

  • Tennis
  • Basketball
  • Gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics
  • Cardio workout
  • Coordination games for hand eye and upper and lower body coordination.
  • Dance move
  • Smart games with a variety of exciting equipment and balls that are engaging for children. 

What to expect:

Our curriculum and unique approach develops the following skills:

  • Agililty
  • Rhythm
  • Timing
  • Reaction
  • Control of their body, moving through space with an awareness and deliberation, not clumsily, also respecting others around them. 
  • Team games teaching kids how to behave in a sports environment and most importantly develop a good sportsmanship ethos.
  • Kids grow into young athletes and learn to develop a healthy relationship with sport, we lay these foundations so that they learn the benefits, feel the difference and have strong connections with moving and playing that will keep drawing them back to sport.

Our Philosophy:

People are not one thing.  Sporty or smart.  Focused on sports or education.  They can be both and have varied interests and we are here to break these stereotypes.  You don’t have to be one or the other, born sporty or not, we give every child the space to grow, improve their coordination and challenge themselves developing confidence and an ‘I can do this’ attitude. 

Sport is inclusive, not exclusive to whoever can master a skill easily from the first class.  Everybody can try and whether they want to be an elite athlete as they grow and develop in their teens or have a recreational hobby that gives them friends and a diversion from stressful exams is their choice.

Our Mission:

Some children are more coordinated than others, that’s great, in our class they can build on that skill.  Everything needs working at.  Professional athletes make their game look easy but they have put years into mastering their skills.  We aim to expose the children to movement so they can try and find the sport that suits them, that they are passionate to work at.
